Soldupe Sync for Android

Soldupe Sync for Android

Soldupe Sync is the official Soldupe Cloud Services client app for syncing your calendars, addressbooks and tasks between your Android device(s) and your Soldupe Cloud Services account.

Soldupe Sync is based on the popular Android app DAVdroid (created by bitfire web engineering) and the only difference between the two apps is that Soldupe Sync is solely able to connect to the Soldupe Cloud Services backend to simplify the configuration process. If you plan to use another *DAV provider besides Soldupe or if you already own DAVdroid, we recommend you to stay with DAVdroid as we fully support it!

More information about configuring and using Soldupe Sync can be found in the Soldupe Sync Configuration Guide.

Where can you get Soldupe Sync?

You can buy Soldupe Sync DRM-free at openhardwareshop.eu (also run by bitfire web engineering – you can also pay in Bitcoins there!) or if you prefer to acquire Soldupe Sync through Google Play Store, you can do this here.

How does Soldupe Sync for Android handle your data?

Your login data (username and password) will be transmitted to the Soldupe Cloud Services backend only.
Your data (contacts, calendar entries, tasks) will be transmitted to the Soldupe Cloud Services backend only as well.
Your credentials (username and password) are stored using Android’s account manager and not by Soldupe Sync itself.
To protect your login data, please consider using full-disk encryption and enabling a lock screen on your mobile device.
